Ford launches production of the Focus Electric in the U.S.
Ford's Wayne (Michigan Assembly Plant) in the U.S. state of Michigan, the production of pure battery-electric Ford Focus Electric is underway. After 20 years of research and development in the field of electric vehicles and 500 pending patents for electric and hybrid technology Ford brings the Focus Electric in the U.S. is now its first mass electric cars on the market.
